Description:
Quite a petite little Rolex from the early 40’s. The watch is in good condition for its age with obvious signs of wear but is all original with its original oyster crown, Radium dial & hands and red painted seconds hand. The watch is fitted with a Gay Freres ladder bracelet. The dial has aged to have a great patina from the Radium. The dial also has 24 hour markers printed in red. Although on the smaller side, this is a great piece for Rolex collectors looking for the more obscure models.
Dial:
The dial has aged to a beige. The Hour and Minute hands are flame blued and have Radium luminous compound. The Seconds hand is painted red. The hours markers are Radium painted on. The minute track is printed on a gilt style mirrored ring. There is a 24 hour markers printed in red on the dial. There is a seconds track around the outer circumference of the dial.
