NOS Zenith Respirator ‘JFK’
Description:
An unworn Zenith with a calibre 2542PC with original strap, buckle and hang tag. The watch has a date display at 4:30. The square case has a polished finish and curved down lugs, allowing for a perfect fit on the wrist.
Known as the ‘JFK’ or ‘Kennedy’ due to the fact that John F. Kennedy, the 35th president of the United States wore a watch very similar to this one.
Dial:
The glossy grey dial has a brushed finish from the centre, reflecting light in the most interesting way. Always a pleasure to check the time. Zenith sits in capital letters beneath the star at the top of the dial, the rest of the font is in a very flowy cursive.
Steel hour markers with a polished finish sit in a circular fashion on the square dial. The marker at 12 has a brushed finish on the inner side.
