Description:

A Jaeger LeCoultre Master Mariner from 1968, Awarded to J.P. Muller for 35 Years of service to the Iscor Steel Company, Now Arcelor-Mittal. The watch uses an in-house Jaeger LeCoultre Cal K883 Automatic movement. The case is in fair condition and does not have any notable scratches. The watch comes with its original Gay Freres bracelet that has been worn, with some stretching. The crown is unsigned. The watch is very unique with a two tone dial that shifts tones in difference angles of light. What else is unique is the name Jaeger LeCoultre at the 9 o’clock position instead of the conventional 12 o’clock position. This is a really unique piece for any Jaeger collector.

Dial:

This unusual two shade dial is split by horizontal brushing along the left hand side of the dial and vertical brushing along the right. The dial has a mark above the applied Jaeger LeCoultre logo- 9 o’clock and a smaller mark above the date window- 3 o’clock. The Hour, Minute and Seconds hands are silver in color with the Hour and Minute hands having luminous compound. The hour markers are silver in color.
