Heuer Montreal Ref 110.503N Cal 12 Automatic Chronograph

Description:

The Heuer Montreal usually goes under the radar for a lot of collectors although it surely will gain in popularity as this particular run only lasted 4 years with the Heuer Cal 12 with the micro rotor automatic movement. This particular watch is in good condition with original fluted pushers and Heuer crown but at some point the case was refinished with a brush finish that goes around the circumference of the case. What is unique about this particular piece is that the outer bezel does not say Tachymeter, only 15 Pulsations. The lume in the hands have aged to an almost black color. With a brand new Hirsch Rally strap, it really brings out the racing theme in the watch. These are sure to slowly climb in value alongside other Heuer models from the same period.

Dial:

The dial is matte black in color in silver applied hour markers and lume stripes. The Hour, Minute and Chronograph Seconds hands are painted red with the Hour and Minute hands having luminous compound. The Chronograph Hour and Minute hands are painted black with the 12 hour white subdial located at 9 o’clock and the 30 minute white and orange subdial located at 3 o’clock. There is an inner bezel, painted black with a tachymeter and pulsations graph printed in white and red. There is a minute and seconds track printed around the circumference of the dial. There is a date window at 6 o’clock.
