Heuer Monaco 1133B ‘Steve Mcqueen’ automatic Chronograph

SOLD

 Heuer Monaco 1133B ‘Steve McQueen’.

Description:

In 1969, Heuer introduced their first automatic chronograph- one of the first to come to the market.
Heuer had 3 different models: The Autavia, the Carrera and the Monaco.
The Monaco’s unique design was chosen for Steve McQueen’s 1971 movie: ‘Le Mans’.
The ‘Steve McQueen’ Monaco 1133B has become a classic and a grail watch for many collectors.
This example is an uncommon variation of the 1133B, with the original NSA bracelet, a sharp top case with a marked caseback.
The matte blue dial shows some signs of work on the subdials, but is in overall fair condition.
